Cajun French Song for kiddies?
I was talking with my grand parents and they were teaching me a song in cajun frecnh called PEE PAIN LO RON (pronounced PEE PAN LOUR RON) does anyone know the song, or what it means in english. I kno its kind of like INNY MINNY MINEY MO
and i know the song is about a mouse and a piece of bread
It sounds like it could be "petit pain lorraine," or "a little roll from Lorraine" (as in quiche lorraine).
Has anyone visited or does anyone live in Houma, LA? Would you recommend it as a tourist stop?
My final destination ist New Orleans. But, I’m really interested in the Cajun culture. Would Houma be a good place to experience authentic Cajun life?
I’ve never been to Houma, Louisiana. New Orleans is as far south as we have travelled. Looks like plenty of wetlands there on the Gulf.
